The competition format is based on a qualification tournament and a main draw.
- Qualification tournament: one day single elimination with a maximum of twenty-four teams to qualify four teams to the Main Draw tournament.
- Main Draw: thirty-two Main Draw teams play in 8 pools of 4 teams in each pool (Round Robin system). The best 3 ranked teams in each pool (a total of 24 teams) will advance to the next phase. Twenty four teams advanced from the pool play will play in single elimination format which will be played until the bronze and gold medal matches.
